Our CPO Division provides international Close Protection and Risk Management Services for private clients, executives, public figures, and NGOs.
We specialize in high-standard, discreet protection and operational planning — whether for urban environments, remote areas, or travel operations across South Africa and abroad.

Sentinel K9 Division

The Sentinel K9 Division focuses on the training of professional K9 handlers and the development of operational dogs for Anti-Poaching Units, K9 security teams, and law enforcement agencies.

Wildlife Rescue & Protection (Hope’s Heaven Project)

Through our non-profit initiative, Hope’s Heaven, we are building a wildlife rescue, rehabilitation, and protection program dedicated to endangered species such as rhinos, predators, and other at-risk animals in South Africa.
This project represents the heart of our mission, combining compassion with professional care.

As a registered Security Service Provider, Sentinel of Nature in cooperation with Sentinel APU offers contracted security solutions for farms, reserves, and private estates across South Africa.
We deploy and manage trained security teams to ensure safety, stability, and rapid response in rural and conservation environments.

Mogli

Founder

Known as Mogli, he is one of the founders of Sentinel of Nature and an experienced K9 leader and instructor .
His deep commitment to wildlife protection led him to develop and lead training for anti-poaching units, security professionals, and civilians, focusing on tactical readiness, K9 operations, and conservation awareness.
Through Sentinel of Nature, Mogli continues to inspire others to defend our planet’s most vulnerable species — especially rhinos and large predators — combining discipline, compassion, and purpose in every mission.

Nico M.

GM / Lead Instructor Anti Poaching

Nico Mitter, is one of the most skilled specialists in human and animal tracking within the conservation and security fields.

With over eight years of frontline experience in anti-poaching operations across Africa, he has mastered the art of reading terrain, interpreting movement, and following tracks under any conditions — from arid savannas to mountain terrain and night missions.

As Head of Anti-Poaching & Wildlife Operations, Nico leads all field training and operational planning, combining tactical precision with deep conservation knowledge to prepare the next generation of wildlife protectors.

Markus S.

Lead Instructor Tactical Operations & Long-Range Training

Markus began his military career in 2009 with the German Army, completing sergeant and paratrooper training, followed by Ranger School, Static Line, and Fast Rope qualifications.

After successfully passing Ranger Selection in 2013, he specialized in CQB, long-range marksmanship, SERE, and mountain warfare, completing numerous SOF sniper and instructor courses across Norway, Spain, Austria, Switzerland, and Sweden, as well as a deployment to Afghanistan.

As Lead Instructor for Tactical Operations and Long-Range Training at Sentinel of Nature, Markus combines his German SOF background with years of operational experience to deliver advanced training for rangers, security professionals, and specialized units worldwide.
